Sew Sew has classes for all levels of experience. Our classes are project-based, so you'll have something to show for your effort every time! Beginners are always welcome, no experience necessary. We do recommend experience for intermediate level classes, however. Parents are free to drop off for kid classes or stick around and enjoy the fun. Sewing can be a great parent/child activity.Some classes require you to shop for fabric beforehand, so that you can pre-wash the material before class. If you wish for your finished product to be machine-washable, this is an excellent idea. Some fabrics will shrink in the washer or dryer, so pre-washing will allow you to skip the headache of pulling a lopsided apron from your dryer after first use.
STUDIO
You do not need to bring anything sewing-related with you to class (unless you pre-purchased materials like fabric, interfacing, etc). We have the sewing machines, the rotary cutters and scissors, the thread, everything you need for your class.You CAN, however, bring snacks and drinks to class to make your time here as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
We have higher end quilting, embroidery, serger, and cover stitch machines in-house. If you would like to rent time on one of these, please give us a call. We're happy to tell you about the prices and get you on the schedule.
