Industry First Curve Sewing!

With the industry-first Curve Sewing feature, you can gently guide your fabric with less pressure when the needle is down, making it easy to rotate. When the needle rises, normal pressure smoothly feeds the fabric forward.

External Laser Guideline Marker

The External Laser Guideline Marker accessory attaches to your machine and plugs into its back, similar to the Droplight LED pointer embroidery foot, and provides a projected, adjustable laser guideline to help sew straight lines or stitch along with the fabric edge. This stitching can be done using the straight stitch or decorative stitches.

Compact Dual Feed Foot

The Compact Digital Dual Feed Foot uses a belt system to adjust fabric feeding speed, improving handling of thick, slippery, or layered fabrics that challenge standard feet.

Wirelessly Enabled and Mobile Apps

The BX1e is wirelessly enabled.  The Artspira Mobile App² provides access to exclusive designs and projects in the hoop with the added ability to create unique patterns by drawing directly on a mobile device and then wirelessly transferring them to the BX1e.  Plus, the MY Stitch Monitoring App allows you to see your embroidery's progress and receive thread alerts from your smartphone or tablet.

Design Database Transfer

A free, downloadable program that lets you transfer embroidery designs from your PC to your wirelessly enabled Brother machine. No USB connection is needed.

Stitch Tapering

With Stich Tapering, you can automatically widen or narrow decorative stitches at the start or end of a seam, creating smooth, professional transitions for corners, appliques, and decorative ends on jeans, home decor, and garments.

Matrix Copy

The Matrix Copy enables you to duplicate and arrange multiple copies of the same design, creating distinctive, customized embroidery patterns. This also helps by allowing the maximum number of patches to be applied with the selected embroidery frame at once.

Yarn Couching

Use Yarn Couching with the Couching Embroidery Foot to create striking 3-D embroidered letters with yarn. You can also enjoy making new, unique crochet couching projects, using water-soluble stabilizer.

Optional Stitch Regulator

The optional Stitch Regulator3 maintains consistent stitch lengths by adjusting the needle timing to match the fabric’s feeding speed. It includes three modes (Continuous, Intermittent, and Basting) and three free-motion feet (Regular, Open-Toe, and Echo).
