Returns and Exchanges

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review the following guidelines for returns and exchanges.
Please note: for all online orders, shipping charges will be deducted from the return amount if your item was shipped to you free of charge. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
General Merchandise (e.g., Sewing Notions) - Please Note: This does not include machines. See the "Machine" section below for more information.
Fabric is eligible for return or exchange within 60 days of purchase only if it has not been washed, cut, marked, or altered in any way.
Machines
This includes sewing machines, embroidery machines, cutting machines, printing machines, and any similar equipment. Machines must be in new condition, with no evidence of physical wear. All included accessories must be present with the machine. Machine box (original packaging) is required for exchange or return.
- Machines may be exchanged for a model of greater value within 60 days of purchase. If the new machine is not priced at least 20% or $1000 higher than your original purchase price, a 10% restocking fee (based on the original price) will apply.
- Machines can be returned within 30 days of purchase. A 10% restocking fee will apply.
Furniture
We do not accept exchanges or returns on furniture, cabinets and cabinet inserts. Please do let us know immediately if you receive a shipment of furniture that is damaged. We will work with the manufacturer to rectify the situation.
Software
We do not accept exchanges or returns on software.

Cancellation Policy for Classes and Lessons
We understand that plans change and other things come up.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a class or private lesson, you must give notice - call our store, our send us an email to let us know that you will not be able to make it. You must do this at least 24 hours before the class or private lesson is scheduled to take place. We will not be able to issue a refund to no-shows, same-day cancellations, or to students that do not give a cancellation or rescheduling notice 24 hours before their appointment.
Service Center Refund and Recheck Policy
Service charges are non-refundable. All machines checked in to our service center for cleaning, tuning, troubleshooting OR repair by our certified technicians will incur a charge. The base-line service charges and details about additional labor charges for all machines checked in to our service department can be found here.
Our service department's tuning and repair services are guaranteed for 30 days from the date that you are notified that your service is complete and your machine is ready for pick up.
If you have a documented issue with your machine that is addressed by our technician during your service appointment AND that re-occurs within 30 days, please call and let us know that you will be bringing your machine in for a recheck. There will be no charge for the recheck if the issue was documented at drop-off during the original service appointment.
