New Free-Motion Quilting Classes

Hello quilter!

We wanted to let you know that we’ve started a new free-motion quilting series with Kay Davis, our free-motion quilting expert. These classes are designed to bolster your free-motion quilting skills. We’re offering two types of classes: one for domestic quilting and another for longarm quilting. In each of these classes, you’ll focus on a specific quilting technique (Baptist fans, feathers, pebbles, swirls, etc.). The goal is that at the end of the series, which is scheduled to end in April, you’ll have all of the skills necessary to create a free-motion quilted whole cloth table runner. However, you are not required to make the table runner in order to attend the classes. Additionally, you can attend as many or as few classes as you want.

These free-motion quilting classes are scheduled to be bi-weekly classes until April. Most of the classes take place on Tuesday afternoons, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Kay Davis is a very responsive instructor, and she will personally work with you to help you master free-motion quilting during the classes. As such, she also welcomes feedback, and she would love to hear what you have to say: do you want to attend these classes but the dates and times don’t work with your schedule?
