Quilting & Binding Class
Piecing is the hardest part of a quilt, or so you thought. Once you get to the “quilting” and “binding” parts of the project, however, you realize that these techniques are no walk in the park, either. That is, until you attend our Quilting & Binding class!
In our Quilting & Binding Class, we’re teaching you the proper way to quilt and attach binding so that you can finish your quilts easily and stress-free on your domestic machine. Our instructor will demonstrate how to use the 1/4”, walking, stitch-in-the-ditch, and free-motion quilting feet, all of which can help you achieve professional-grade results in your projects. In the second half of the lesson, you'll practice your newly-learned skills on a small project, which will include making and attaching binding with mitered corners to a small fabric sample. This is a one-and-done kind of session, so after you attend this class, you’ll be ready to complete all of your quilts at home!
Materials
All materials will be provided during this class. Students will receive fabrics to practice the class’s techniques during the lesson.
Experience Level
This class is suitable for beginner quilters, although if you're a seasoned sewist and want to learn the proper way to quilt and attach binding, you are also welcome to attend!
