Whether you want to learn how to use a machine or are interested in making a special project, we invite you to book a private lesson at our studio!

In these one-on-one sessions, you’ll meet with our instructor and explore machine embroidery. Each session is $60 for an hour and a half. After attending your first lesson, you’re welcome to book another one or join one of our group project classes.

2.) If the time slot that you want says "add to waitlist", please select another time or date.

Fill out the form on that page to request a custom private lesson. After filling it out, we'll contact you via email with more details about your submission.

Katie is a machine embroidery expert who loves bringing designs to life with thread. She looks forward to teaching you how to use your embroidery machine and guide you through the basics - from setup to stitching - so that you can build confidence and fall in love with machine embroidery too!

What To Bring to Your Lesson

• Your embroidery machine
• Thread (top and bobbin)
• Power cord and foot pedal
• Machine instruction manual and accessories for the machine (including embroidery hoop and embroidery foot)
• Stabilizer
• Supplies for the project

Materials for any project that you make in a lesson are NOT included in the price, but they can be purchased at our store for 20% off. (Excludes machines.)

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your private lesson, you must give notice to your instructor, call our store, our send us an email to let us know that you will not be able to make it. You must do this at least 24 hours before the private lesson is scheduled to take place. We will not be able to issue a refund to no-shows, same-day cancellations, or to students that do not give a cancellation or rescheduling notice 24 hours before their appointment.

Additional Information
This is a one-person private lesson. This session will take place at our DULUTH studio.

Katie will contact you a few days before your lesson to introduce herself and to review the topics that you’d like to cover during the lesson.
