What's Inside: Rag Quilting for Beginners
In this beginner- friendly class, participants will learn the fast, fun, and fringey art of rag quilting! If you have been looking for a quick and cozy quilt finish, this class is for you! The rustic feel and durable nature of rag quilts are great for picnics, sporting events, and baby showers.
Quilters in this class will need to provide either pre-cuts or yardage that equals 24 to 42 ten inch flannel squares, depending on the size of quilt they would like to make. Under Kay's direction, you will learn how to join squares properly to accommodate for the specialty trimming that delivers a signature lush, soft, rag quilted look!
The cost of this class includes four hours of instruction and the use of studio machines and supplies. Students will provide their own fabric, which can be purchased from Sew Sew for 20% off.
