Beginner: Cube storage 10" x 10" lined fabric bins

I have spent too much money and guilt donating/re-buying the flimsy plastifabric bins for my many cube storage shelves at home.  Personally, I want to replace them all with sturdy handmade ones that will last for many many years.  Are you in the same boat?  Would it be better if they were reversible and nice thick cotton?  Yay!  These bins are 10" x 10" and will fit both the smaller cube storage shelves as well as the slightly larger ones! 

With some math and finding a great pattern from SweetRedPoppy, we are offering this beginner/advanced beginner class.  This is suitable for older beginners, younger beginners that have had a class before (8 and up), or people comfortable manipulating a large object under a small needle :) It is strait stitches, but because of the size and nature of the project, takes a little patience and hand control. We will have a short machine lesson at the start of the class, and then get to cutting and sewing!  

We will make one bin that is 10" x 10" and reversible.  The sturdy interfacing is included in the price of the 3 hour class as well as all thread and machine use.  You will also go home with a pattern to make more for all of your cubes!  PS:  If you do not have a machine at home, we have Sewcial Fridays from 11-4 where you can come and sew on our machines for 15$ flat.  That is not a class or private instruction, but knowledgable staff are around :) 

Fabric choices are up to you!  They are an extra cost to the class, but are 20% off if purchased at the shop.  Please mention to the cashier when you purchase to get your discount! You can pre-purchase, bring from home, or choose at the start of class if you are a quick decision maker ;) No need to pre-wash. 

For each bin, you will need:
1/2 yard outside fabric
1/2 yard inside fabric

This needs to be a NON-STRETCH, NON-SILKY FABRIC.  Almost every fabric in the shop will work, any quilting weight cotton, even canvas is ok for this project as long as it is not very thick.
