Fall 2024 Beginner Homeschool Series - Terrific Tuesdays

Welcome to our Fall 2024 Beginner Homeschool Sewing Series! For the Fall 2024 semester, we’ve designed a set of classes for kids that want to learn how to sew or who want to continue developing their existing sewing abilities. Along the way, students will be able to unleash their creativity, make new friends, and have fun!

This fall semester, students are going to be making a lap-sized quilt that measures approximately 30” W by 35” H. Over the course of the series’ six sessions, students will explore how to operate a sewing machine safely, dive into design layout, practice sewing precise seam allowances, and work with different types of machine accessories. At the conclusion of the series in late November, students will not only have a completed quilt that they’ll be able to take home, but they’ll also possess the necessary skills to continue sewing, whether it’s independently on their own time or through attending some of our other sewing lessons.

Series Information
Please refer the picture in this listing to see the quilt that we'll be making this semester.

To accommodate your child’s schedule, we will be hosting two versions of this series this Fall 2024 semester: The Marvelous Mondays sessions will take place every other Monday, and the Terrific Tuesdays sessions will take place every other Tuesday. Both versions are exactly the same; we’ll follow the same class structure, cover the same topics, and make the same project. The only difference between the Marvelous Mondays and Terrific Tuesdays sessions is the day of the week that they’ll take place on.

If the Monday series works better for your child's schedule, we invite you to sign up. Please click
