Mav Pack Bagmaking Class
Should you make the Mav Pack? No question about it: HECK YEAH!!
This little bag packs quite the punch! You’ll be surprised with everything that it carries; it may be tiny but it sure is mighty, and fits your phone, keys, wallet, and a handful of other everyday essentials. (Yes, handful - just when you thought that something else wouldn’t be able to fit, BAM, the Mav Pack will be able to carry it!)
Going to a crowded area? Thanks to the bag’s unique strap configuration, you can wear this accessory on the front OR back, making it easy to keep your belongings safe as you wear the coolest bag in the room.
And remember that large-scale fabric you bought years ago? It’s absolutely gorgeous, but you’ve never been able to use it because its bigger print makes it a little difficult to work with. Take it out because it’s its time to shine! The Mav Pack’s front is the perfect canvas to showcase any of your favorite panels or large-scale fabrics. As a matter of fact, any and every fabric looks good on the Mav Pack. Once you make one, you’ll make another one, and then another one and then, just one more, (and maybe another one after that) because you won’t be able to stop thinking about the endless amount of fun combinations that are possible with this bag. Functional, a quick make, versatile, and attention-grabbing, the fabulous Mav Pack is your go-to companion for a hands-free life!
Pattern Adaptations
Instead of making D-ring anchors, we will be making a unique strap slider so that you can wear your bag in the front AND the back. The pattern also calls for using leather/vinyl to accentuate the strap; we will not use these materials during this lesson, and the strap will just use webbing, two swivel hooks, and a strap slider.
