Longarm Familiarization Class
Join us for this introductory class on learning how to use our Janome QMP 20" longarm machine for quilting.
This two-hour lecture-style class will walk you through loading a quilt, threading the machine, basting, and pulling up the bobbin thread. Students will even get to practice a few free-motion techniques. We'll also discuss thread choices, tips for keeping things aligned, which way you should place your batting, and give you our best advice for achieving professional-grade quilts. After completing this class, students will be eligible to rent time on our longarm machine to finish their quilt projects.
