Upcycled Quilty Denim Jacket
Transform that old, unworn denim jacket that’s been camping out in the back of your closet into an ultra-hip garment that’s going to be the envy of all your friends! What’s going to make it so awesome? Oh, only the custom quilt block that you’ll add to the back of the jacket. With your new upcycled quilty jacket, you’ll be the coolest person you know!
How you’ll make it:
1.) Bring any unworn denim jacket to class.
2.) Make a template of the back with tracing paper.
3.) Design and piece your quilt block. You’ll employ a quilt-as-you-go technique for this step.
4.) Once completed, attach the block to the back of the jacket.
Put on your new jacket - we’re going out tonight to show it off!
