Mini Charm Patchwork Pouch Workshop

Mini charm packs have been a favorite of our studio recently! These packs full of 2.5” squares offer so much; they’re a wonderful way to sample an entire collection, and you can make SO many great projects with them: Mug rugs, pot holders, keychains, pillow cases, journal covers… the list never ends. In this workshop, we’re going to be making the best project of all: a zipper boxy pouch! This pouch measures approximately 14” W x 10” H x 4” W. You’ll use two mini charm packs, fusible fleece, and a special gridded interfacing that will help you get perfectly aligned seams. This is a quick, FUN, and very addictive project; every single one of your friends will have one after you attend this class!


Workshop Structure
 • 10:30 AM - 12 PM: Working on the exterior pieces
In the first half of the workshop, we'll work on constructing the exterior. This will involve fabric placement, piecing the exterior, and quilting.

• 12 - 1 PM: Finishing the exterior pieces and lunch break.
Finishing the exterior pieces is the most time-consuming part of this project. During this one-hour break, you'll be able to finish both of your exterior pieces so that everyone can be at the same step when they get back from the break. This will also give you an opportunity to stretch your legs and eat before we get to the second half of the project. Please bring a small lunch with you to the class.

• 1 to 2:30 PM: Installing the zipper and boxing the corners.
Your patchwork pouch will come to life in the second half of the class!

Materials 
This class includes most materials. We will supply fusible fleece, gridded interfacing, and you will be able to choose two mini charm packs.

Additionally, you will need to supply 1/2 yard of lining fabric and one 14” zipper. These two materials can be purchased in our store for 20% off. Please make sure you arrive early to class so that you can choose your zipper and lining fabric.
