Kids' Play & Make Series - February

Each class in the Play & Make series is designed to teach your child how to sew as they create a fun project. If your child has never sewn before, this series serves as the perfect starting point. In each class, our instructor will teach kids all of the sewing basics: how to operate a sewing machine safely, how to begin sewing using the straight stitch, and how to start and finish a project. The projects that we'll make in this class are suitable for everyone, girls and boys alike. Additionally, these projects are beginner-friendly and highly customizable, and kids can continue to make the projects at home for all of their friends and family. It's going to be a lot of fun!

February's Project
Kids will have an opportunity to help the planet and reduce plastic waste in February's session because they're making reusable snack bags! They can choose their favorite fabric for the exterior, the inside will be lined with a special laminated material, and the bag will close with a velcro closure. Thanks to the laminated interior, kids will be able to store all kinds of delicious treats inside and clean it easily to use over and over again.
