Free-Motion Quilting on a Domestic Machine: Making A Pillow Case



Do you wish you could free-motion quilt feathers, pebbles, swirls, and Baptist fans? Now you can learn in this class! 

This free-motion quilting class is back by popular demand. Our guest instructor, Kay D., is an expert quilter and in this class, she will pass on her free-motion quilting knowledge off to you. In the two-part class, you will be making an 18" pillow cover and then decorate it using free-motion quilting techniques. During the class, you will learn and then practice free-motion quilting fundamentals, and the instructor will provide plenty of informative handouts and diagrams so that you can perfect your technique. 

Experience Level: This class is suitable for intermediate quilters.

Materials: All materials for the pillow cover will be provided. This includes fabric and batting. (The pillow is not included.) Students should bring their own machine to the class; the machine should have a drop-feed function. Please bring a free-motion or darning foot, an even feed/walking foot, and an extension table (if available).
