Beginner: Log Cabin Christmas Tree Skirt ~ Three part Class, all materials included!
This three part class will be so much fun! This year, we are making a log cabin tree skirt. Wednesday evenings starting October 26. All three classes and materials are included in the price of the class.
This stunning large quilted tree skirt will brighten the holiday season. Simple constuction using the "log cabin" method makes this a good project for beginners and seasoned quilters alike. Measures around 60" X 52".
In the first class, we will select fabrics, learn all about color theory, and start cutting. The second class will cover piecing your cut fabrics. You may have homework between classes. If you do not have access to a machine at home, you are welcome to come in the shop if we do not have a class going on (check the class calendar or give us a call.) Third class will be finishing the skirt including quilting and binding!
This functional class will teach you many of the basics of quilting while making a fun holiday piece. We can't wait sew with you.
