Beginner: Make Your Own Bias Piping or Binding

Learn how to make your own custom bias piping or double fold binding tape for easy application to curved seams.  This is a great skill to have in your toolbox.  Bias cut provides a little bit of give and stretch so that you can have a nice application without as many bumps and wrinkles!  Clothing, bags and anything with a curved seam need this.

We are making a sewing machine cover right after this class that calls for bias cut corded piping. This is a great opportunity to learn a skill then apply it to a project if you would like to sign up for both classes.

We will make at least two yards during the class as this is what is needed for the machine cover, but you are welcome to make more depending on time.

You will need 5/8 of a yard of fabric to make 200+ inches.  (more than you will need for the machine cover project but necessary to get long strips cut on the 45 degree angle.)
