Beginner: Sewing Machine Covers with or without Piping!

Learn how to make a pretty cover for your machine that will also help keep it dust-free!  The pattern will fit most basic machines that measure around 15”W x 12”H x 7”D.  We can also adjust the pattern to fit a larger machine, just email us your machine name or measurements before class! This project gets large and bulky, so a bit of arm/hand strength is needed to make it.

Materials Required:
Standard Machine:  1 yd woven cotton or light canvas, 1 yd interfacing or fusible fleece, and optional 2 yds piping. Larger machines will need additional yardage. No need to prewash.

Don’t forget you get 20% off all fabric purchases for class supplies.

We have premade bias piping in shop, but if you would like to learn how to make your own, sign up for the class right before this one and make your own to use on your cover! Piping and pocket are optional.
