We know how excited all of you are that Starbucks has released its sacred Pumpkin Spice Latte, and we have our own version of such a momentous fall release: NEW MACHINES!
Janome and Brother have released MANY new machines (and products!) for the fall season, and we think they are the greatest things since sliced bread. There are so many new releases that we’re going to break the news into several parts. One email simply isn’t enough for everything we want to share!
In Part ONE of our machine release series, we’re diving into our first batch of new Janomes. It’s going to be a sewing-filled season!

As part of the partnership, the bestselling Janome Continental M6 got a makeover, Laundry Basket Quilts style.
The LBQ Continental M6 has the same features that we all know and love from previous iterations—spacious 13” throat space, buttery-smooth and powerful sewing, a dual-feed system, tons of light, an automatic presser foot lift, and a sturdy, all-metal flatbed. THIS is a dream quilting machine.
For its Laundry Basket Quilts makeover, the M6 boasts a beautiful teal colorway (it's very Sew Sew coded). There are also flower motifs on its exterior that are reminiscent of the trendy sewing stickers that we all love to stick onto our machines.

First of all, it’s compact and lightweight, making it a perfect companion for travel. (Think retreats and classes!) But just because it’s lightweight does NOT mean that it’s weak—in fact, it’s quite the opposite. This machine is a workhorse, and it’s versatile enough to tackle anything: quilts, décor, couture, and beyond. Do you see where the “QDC” comes from?
And the accessories? It comes with everything that you need: a quarter-inch foot, walking foot, free-motion quilting foot, appliqué foot, zipper foot, and even an extension table and a hard cover. Oh yes, for those of you who struggle to see under the needle area? It has optic magnifiers, too.
As part of its Laundry Basket Quilts makeover, the 5300 gets a fresh lilac faceplate and a gorgeous quilty tattoo on its right side. They’re patchwork hexies!
